Silent World

Parisian photographers Lucie & Simon took some of the busiest cities on the planet and reduced them to barren spaces. They then edited the images into a stunning short film entitled "Silent World."

Using a neutral density filter "normally used by NASA for analyzing stars," they achieved the effect by taking long-exposure shots and cutting out the blurred and moving images of cars and people in crowded areas of New York City, Paris and Beijing.

Watch "Silent World" below.
