Time for a break

Another blogger mused last week about taking a break away from blogging and it got me to thinking about my own blogging lethargy lately. This blogging thing can be a high-maintenance companion at times, demanding to be fed on a regular basis and provoking a sense of guilt when you let it go hungry for a few days or whatever.

The last time I wrote here was February 19th and I’ve zeroed out on inspiration for follow-up. Blogging fatigue maybe? For now, I’m going to move some news feeds to the top of the heap and that will keep the content moving.  There are some wonderful blogs listed on the right-hand side of this page.  Check them out.

Be good to yourself.  :-)

I can totally understand what you're saying. It seems after a while it can become a bit of a weight - and who needs guilt? Hopefully some time away will give you the itch back! Take care.

I wholeheartedly agree with what you are saying. Blogging can be an enjoyable, albeit sometimes frustrating, experience. If it starts to become a burden, it's time to step away from the keyboard. Recharge the batteries and enjoy the break VP.

I wondered where you were Veep. Yeah, fatigue hits all of us.
I do miss your pithy posts and comments though :-)
Enjoy your vacation.
Sharpen the swords.
Gird the loins.
Fill the inkwell.
Get steamed up about something....when you're ready.

I have experienced the blogging blahs a number of times. In fact right now I haven't the faintest idea what to blog about. Maybe I will visit the gal on the Rock for a little inspiration . I will check on your progress here.

Thanks Chris. Stepping away and plugging in the battery for a recharge. BUT continuing to read some very fine blogs such as your own. :-)

Thanks GFB. The well does go dry every now and then and mine's been getting dryer and dryer! :-) Hope the gal inspires you to greater and more wonderful posts.

Thanks WWW – much appreciated. However, with all the sharpening, girding, filling and steaming you want me to do – how the heck am I going to find time for a vacation? LOL
