A moment of care

On Thursday November 11th, we were asked to set aside a few minutes and pay a silent tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom. It is a fitting tribute to those who give so much for so many. Today, on this Sabbath day for many of us, it is appropriate to take a moment to think of those who give their lives in service for others. I’m thinking especially today of Karen Huxter, the Newfoundlander who established the Hands Across The Sea orphanage in Haiti.
