A great week of golf

We’re less than two weeks away from the start of the Masters! The 2010 Masters is scheduled for April 5-11 at the Augusta National Golf Course in Augusta, Georgia. For many, Augusta is the highlight of the golf circuit and this year is no exception. Here are the top five favourites to come away with the 2010 Green Jacket: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els, Paddy Harrington and Steve Stricker. Of course, most attention will be on Woods, simply because he is the top golfer in the world. He’s been practicing with his long time coach but that doesn’t mean he’s a shoe-in. Keep an eye on Stricker, who won the Northern Trust open in the beginning of February. Stricker is currently at the top of the leader board with a scoring average of 68.3 per 18 holes and has been hitting the fairway 68.4% of the time in 2010. It will be a great week of golf!
